This policy explains what happens to your information when you use dotsandboxes.in (the "Site"). We've kept the Site as simple as possible on purpose: there's no account system, no sign-up, and no server-side database that stores anything about you personally.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our own servers. Everything that happens in a game — player names, scores, grid size, chosen tokens — stays inside your own browser and is never sent anywhere. Closing the tab or clearing your browser data erases it completely.
The Site can be installed as an app and works offline. This is powered by a "service worker," a small script your browser runs that saves a copy of the game's files on your device so it still loads without an internet connection. This local cache only stores the Site's own files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, icons) — it does not track you, does not identify you, and is not shared with us or anyone else.
The Site itself does not set tracking or advertising cookies. If we enable an advertising network such as Google AdSense in the future, that provider may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
If analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) are added to measure overall traffic, they operate on an aggregated, non-identifying basis and follow the same cookie-consent principles described above.
The Site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Since no accounts or personal data collection exist on the Site, this generally isn't a concern, but if you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service linked from this Site, please contact us so we can address it.
This policy may be updated from time to time, for example when new features or advertising partners are added. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
